(ii) Union government has kept a control over minerals, and heavy industries. (iii) Under the ARTICLE 356 on the recommendations of the governor of the state, the administration of the state can be undertaken by central government. (b) Argument which FAVOURS the strong centre: (i) Astrong centre can CURTAIL riots and violence at any stage in any corner of the country. (ii) It can also deal with communal frenzy. (iii) It can modernise the country and can mobilise the availability of economic resource. (iv) It can set well-knit administration. (V) It can defend the country from any outside DANGER.
