These are archaeological finds, especially scupturs ACCOUNT ofMegasthenes who was Greek ambassador to the court of Chandragupta Maurya. (ii)Another source which is often used in THEARTHASHASTRA parts of which were probably composed by Kautilya or CHANAKYA, the Minister of Chandragupta.
