Answer» When Bhagwat Singh ji came to know that Heeralal had misbehaved with Lakshmi, he got furious. He called him a rascal. He ordered him to leave the haveli and never show his face again. He told him that he had been brought up since his childhood in the haveli, and he had dared to take the honour of an innocent woman. However, after Heeralal’s repeated pleas for forgiveness, he relented and let him off with a stern warning. जब भगवत सिंह जी को पता लगा कि हीरालाल ने लक्ष्मी के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया है तो वह गुस्से से आग बबूला हो गये। उन्होंने उसे बदमाश कही। उन्होंने उसे हवेली छोड़ने और अपनी मुँह कभी भी न दिखाने के लिये कहा। उन्होंने उसे बताया कि उसे बचपन से हवेली में पाला गया था और उसने एक भोली-भाली स्त्री की इज्जत लेने की कोशिश की है। फिर भी हीरालाल की बार-बार क्षमायाचना के बाद वे नरम पड़ गये और उन्होंने उसे एक कठोर चेतावनी के बाद छोड़ दिया। |
