Answer» Sindhu had one great ambition in his life and that was to marry the beautiful daughter of the landowner. He sold her his three dancing goats and a flute and managed to know the secret of the three strands of hair hidden among her black silken tresses. Sindhu revealed this secret in the ‘Swayamvar’ organised by the landowner for the marriage of his daughter. Thus, he succeeded in winning the hand of the girl and realising his great ambition. सिन्धु के जीवन में एक ही बड़ी आकांक्षा थी और वह थी जमींदार की खूबसूरत कन्या से विवाह। उसने उसे अपने तीन नाचने वाले बकरे और बांसुरी बेच दी और उसकी काली रेशमी जुल्फों में छिपे तीन बालों का रहस्य जान लिया सिन्धु ने इस रहस्य को उस स्वयंवर में उजागर कर दिया जो जमींदार ने अपनी बेटी की शादी के लिये आयोजित किया था। इस तरह वह लड़की का हाथ पाने और अपनी बड़ी आकांक्षा को पूरा करने में सफल हो गया। |
