Alliance was an economic AMERICAN moment initiated by farmers of America during 1870-80. This was done to better the socio-economic stance of farmers by creating political advocacy groups from local level to district level. This movement is also called NORTHERN Alliance. The first legal body was initiated in Chicago. The pivotal demand was to have a DIRECT representative of farmers to be elected in the Senate in United STATES to tackle problems faced by farmers all throughout the continent.
