Answer» Women Education was both formal as well as Informal. Education was prevalent, mainly among the women of royal family, nobility class, Charans, Jain Sadhvis, as well as housemaids. The royal family women got education in the cultural values and military. There were many scholarly Charan women. The Jain Sadhvis studied in the Upasara. They were adept in language, literature and translation. The women from business class families acquired education in the family profession while staying in the family. |
