Answer» Answer: Equal number of ministers from both the groups : This was done to ensure that no single community can make decisions unilaterally. More powers to STATE Government : Under the NEW power sharing arrangement, many powers of the CENTRAL Government were given to State Governments to the regions of the country. Equal representation at State and Central LEVEL : A separate government was set up at Brussels where both communities have equal representation. Formation of Community Government: Apart from central and state government, a third form of government was formed which was elected by people belonging to one language community i.e. Dutch, French and German speaking - matter where they live. This government has the power to discuss educational, cultural and language related ISSUES. |
