Answer» On November 2, 2005, approval was given to National Steel Policy by the central government in which aim was fixed to increase production from 4 crore 21 lakh tons to 11 crore tons by 2019 – 20. To achieve this target, there is a possibility of investment of 2.5 lakh crore jointly by public and private sector. |
