What were the reasons behind the failure of the Ijaradari system?

Answer»

the Mughals’ failure to maintain thejagirsand to keep themansabdarsunder their control was one of the most critical factors for the decline of the Mughal empire. Thejagirdaricrisis, alone, led to an economical crisis, an increase in social tension, formation of factions in the nobility and most importantly it led to a decrease in the imperial authority. Collectively, these factors contributed, in entirety, to the decline of the Mughal empire.
