We've created the online tool, GOODS, that helps you access publicly available ocean currents and winds from various models and data sources. You can then download the files as netCDF files that can be read DIRECTLY into GNOME. To download currents, choose one of the Sea Surface Height and Geostrophic Currents datasets (06. Monthly; 14. Weekly; or 15. Near Real-Time Weekly). Check the box for "Sea-Surface Height + Geostrophic Currents," then click Next. In the Select View box, choose your desired view.
