Answer» Yes, both the SLIP and SLIDE tools are technically part of the Trim tool. When a CLIP selected with the Trim tool you’ll see the cursor change to reflect the operation. In the MIDDLE of a clip it changes to the Slip tool, option to change to the Slide tool. At any point you can also hold down the T KEY to temporarily change to the Trim tool.
