Subjects to study for becoming an Air Traffic Controller:

• Air traffic controller is an important job in the aviation industry it is important because without an air traffic controller planes cannot take off or land.

• They coordinate the distance between the other planes which are there in the same air space and see if there is a safe distance between EVERY plane so that no plane will crash into each other.

• They have access to a radar screen in front of them showing them all the airplanes which are there in the airspace.

• They also can communicate directly with the pilot of the plane with the help of radio signals they instruct PILOTS to climb high if there is a plane is below. They also instruct the pilots to descend if there is a plane above.

• Incase the pilots have any emergency like an engine failure LOW fuel etc the air traffic controller gives priority to that plane and ensures that the plane lands safely and everyone in that plane is safe. He stops all the other planes which are about to take off or land.

• For being an air traffic controller you need to take the science stream in class 11th with MATHS. You need to be good in physics and math and SCORE 55 % in board exams in these subjects. After this he can pursue a course in a college for being an air traffic controller.

• The average salary of an air traffic controller in India is ₹ 2,21,076 per year.

• Sometimes you might have to work night shifts in this job for this you will be sleeping in the morning and waking up when the night sleeps and also you might not get leaves during the weekends and festivals they will give you leaves in other days.
