Which desert is red because iron is present in it's sand? pls sendASAP

Answer»

e iron molecules in the rock (and remember, sand GRAINS are basically just very tiny ROCKS) come into CONTACT with the oxygen in the air, they oxidize - basically, they rust - TURNING into iron oxide, which has a reddish color. Is the desert red in COLOUR due to the presence of iron in its sand?
