Answer» Carbon dioxide is the most abundant (60 per cent) among greenhouse gases. With doubling of concentration growth of plants (carbon dioxide fixing) increases by 30 per cent in shortterm period. At higher concentration of CO₂, stomata close and hence transpiration rate will be reduced.
