Answer» As SAID by Mr.B.R.Ambedkar,the chairman of the DRAFTING COMMITTEE in the constituent assembly debate that article 32 that is right to constitutional remedy,is the heart and soul of the INDIAN constitution. Art 32(1)The right to move the supreme court by appropriate proceedings for the enforcement of the rights conferred by this part is guaranteed. Now public interest litigation also has its origin from the interpretation of “appropriate proceeding” . Through such interpretation the supreme court has extended the ambit of locus standii.
