|
Answer» Graphite or "graphite PASTE" is USED for electrodes because a) it is conductive b) it is inexpensive C) it can continuously EXPOSE a "fresh" surface. I'm not sure if you want to call brushes for motors "electrodes" but, for that PURPOSE, carbon's low coefficient of friction is a plus |
