Answer» Bhagwat Singh ji’s wife told Geeta that to become one with the family one must learn to listen to the elders. After a moment of silence, she said, “Binniji, once a girl has gone to school, she will never take a broom in her hand. I was thinking of your comfort, Binniji. I would marry Sita to one of the servant boys and both of them would serve you. You do not understand that, when she is getting useful to you in the house, you are thinking to send her to school.” भगवत सिंह जी की पत्नी ने गीता को बताया कि परिवार के साथ मिलकर एक बनने में बड़ों की बातें सुननी पड़ती हैं। एक क्षण की चुप्पी के बाद उसने कहा, “बिन्नी जी, एक बार जब एक लड़की स्कूल चली जाती है। तो वह कभी भी अपने हाथ में झाडू नहीं पकड़ती है। मैं तो तुम्हारे आराम के बारे में सोच रही थी। बिन्नी जी, मैं सीता का विवाह नौकरों के किसी लड़के से कर देंगी और वे दोनों तुम्हारी सेवा करेंगे। तुम नहीं समझती कि जब वह घर में काम करने के लिये लाभदायक हो रही है तुम उसे स्कूल भेजने की सोच रही हो।” |
