HALOPHILLS are type of archaebacteria which belongs to the kingdom monera .
They are chemptrophic
They can SURVIVE in high salt concentration , DUE to absence of contractile vacoule .
They have a pigment called bacteriohodospin in their cell membrane , whuch help them to trap sunlight
For ex - halobacterium , haloanacoccus
