Baba Ram Chandra was an Indian trade unionist who organised the farmers of Awadh and united them to fight against landlords. He went to Fiji islands as an indentured labourer. By October the Oudh Kisan Sabha was set up headed by Jawaharlal Nehru , Baba Ramchandra & a few others.

  • He was a sanyasi, who had earlier been to Fiji as an indentured labourer.
  • He started the movement against talukdars and landlords, who demanded high rent and taxes from the peasants.
