e.g., : Cis-but-2-ene (277 K) has boiling point more than trans-but-2-ene (274 K).
In trans GEOMETRY the SUBSTITUTION or molecule groups are opposite to each other, therefore there is less - inter NUCLEAR force and strong van der Waals force.
