Answer» there are colourless ,amoeboid (Amoeba like) sales. they are fewer but bigger than red blood cell . each white blood cell has a nucleus and move around with the help of pseudopodia ,like an Amoeba. this HELPS them to PASS through the thin walls of blood capillaries and reach the site of infection .we recognise 5 different types of WBC on the basis of their size shape and size of other nucleus and CYTOPLASMIC contents . there number is MUCH less than the RBC . all of them play an important role in the protection of body .defeat against disease by DESTROYING the germs harmful bacteria and other foreign material .so much WBC photos specific chemical called antibodies against pathogens . thus they are an important part of our self defence (immune )system.
