Why air is called a mixture not a gas?

1.	Why air is called a mixture not a gas?
Answer» Because air is no only one type of gas.this is mixture of more than one gas .so this is mixture .. In atmosphere there are many gases like carbon dioxide,oxygen,nitrogen,etc.so,they are called mixture.And gas means there will be only one type of substance.
