Why are lyosomes known as suicide bags |

Answer» During disturbance in cellular metabolism, lysosomes may burst and digestive enzymes digest their own cells. So lysosomes are called suicide bags as it releases hydrolytic enzymes and digest it own cell in which it is present. When the cell get damage lysosomes may burst and the enzymes digest their own cell therefore lysosomes called suicidel bages of the cell Because in case of disturbance in their cellular metabolism they own their cell by releasing their own enzymes |
