Answer» When Krupa challenged Karma to reveal his parentage and when Bhima flung hot words at Karma, it was Duryodhana who befriended him and gave him wealth, a kingdom, power, armies more than that he gave him friendship, a lifelong friendship. So Karma refused to leave Duryodhana.
