Solution :(i) Gandhiji FIRMLY believed that the British Rule in India was established with the cooperation of the LOCAL PEOPLE and still existed due to their cooperation .
(ii) He LAUNCHED the policy of Non-cooperation so that he may put an end to the foreign rule and introduce self-rule.
