Why did Sophie like her brother, Geoff more than any other person? |

Answer» Sophie was extremely fond of her brother Geoff. While Dad and Derek represented the squalor of their present existence, Geoff was the only person who offered a ray of hope in her life. He symbolized freedom as he visited places she had never been to Sophie hoped that he would introduce her to his exotic and promising world for which she believed she was made. |
