Why do few countries only use geothermal energy |

Answer» Because high-temperature geothermal RESOURCES are found only where there is a COINCIDENCE of high heat flow and favorable hydrology, and these coincidences occur only in a few PLACES and only occasionally near major CENTERS of energy consumption.So, the problem is that huge areas of the world simply don’t have the high-temperature resources necessary to SUPPORT electricity generation. |
