Answer» Some cells have more mitochondria,for ex fat cells store a lot of energy that is why they have more mitochondria.muscle cells also have a lot of mitochondria because they need a lot of energy to do work.In short,those cells which store energy or those who need more have more number of them Mitochondria is an organelle found in eukaryotic cells. It is often called the powerhouse of the cell because it is the location for the portion of cellular respiration that produces ATP molecules, which are the main source of energy for the cell. Mitochondria are the energy production center of the cell. |
