Answer» As we all know that, our moon doesn't CHANGE SHAPE itself as the EARTH rotates its shape changes according to the ways like full moon , half moon, We can see moon in different shapes at NIGHT at a particular time its because of the rotation of earth. So that's why moon changes its phase.
