1.	Why do you think it is important for the person who makes an FIR to take a copy of the report?
Answer» PERSON who files the FIR should ALWAYS keep a copy of the REPORT because in case the original copy get tampered or mishandled there should be a backup to support you. ALSO , a copy of FIR enables the person who complained to know the details of FIR , if the content is as he/she told . FIR being an official document could be produced in COURT of law. Also, a FIR assures that the complaint is registered properly and its not just randoms talk without proof.
