Why does an earthworm find it difficult to move on a glass?

Answer»

Answer:

Worms have little microscopic hairs on their bodies that aid them in locomotion. Glass is an extremely smooth surface in comparison to what worms USUALLY crawl on/in. The glass may ALSO be dry, in which the WORM will lose moisture and end up sticking to the glass then dying because it cannot move ANYMORE.
