Answer» Henry is in love with Aurora, wife of Mr Bompas. He has composed many love poems for her. Unfortunately the poems are lost and fall into her husband’s hands. She fears that she may be an object of disgrace and hatred. So she thinks that if she had been christened any other name, she would have been saved from disgrace. हैनरी, श्रीमान बोम्पास की पत्नी औरोरा से प्यार करता है। उसने उसके लिये बहुत-सी प्रेम भरी कवितायें लिखी हैं। दुर्भाग्य से कवितायें खो जाती है और उसके पति के हाथ लग जाती हैं। उसे डर है कि वह बदनामी तथा घृणा का पात्र बन सकती है। अतः वह सोचती है कि यदि उसका नाम अन्य कोई नाम रख दिया जाता तो वह बदनामी से बच जाती। |
