why does Zno appear golden yellow at high temperature? |
|
Answer» ?nice answer thanks Zno is white in color but on heating it turn into golden yellow in color bcoz on heating it loses oxygen reversible on high temperature. In O- deficient the free electrons that keep the compound electrically neutral are less tightly bond and may be promoted by the absorped of photons in the violet region and ultimately the color which is observed is yellow...................
