Why is ammeter likely to burn out if you connected in parallel ? |
|
Answer» Ammeter is always CONNECTED in series with the circuit in which current to be measured ,Since current remains same in series connection and also the RESISTANCE of an ammeter is very small so that it may not change the value of current but if an ammeter is connected in parallel, it get burn because an ammeter CONSISTS of low resistance wire which will burn due to a very large amount of current passed through it. |
