Why is delay in decision making BETTER for democracy? |

Answer» Democracy is a process of arriving at an agreed-upon judgment or a CONSENSUS. Such an agreement is an OUTCOME of deliberation, i.e. a process where people try to persuade each other through the give-and-take of rational arguments. Thus in a democratic SYSTEM, the decision making is delayed because of this deliberations and NEGOTIATIONS. |
