Answer» As you increase your elevation, there is lesser air above which MEANS there is lesser pressure. As the pressure DECREASES, the air molecules spread out further and the TEMPERATURE DECREASES. At high temperatures, air molecules have more energy. This CAUSES them to vibrate faster. |
