Answer» People living in desserts are PRIMARILY dependent on MAKING handicrafts. This is so because there are not much options available to them for earning a livelihood. They don't have any option to depend on agriculture because except some REGIONS of the dessert cultivating crops is not possible on the barren land. Animal rearing is another option left for them but they can not make it their primary occupation or primary SOURCE for earning a livelihood. |
