Why is making salt restricted to coastal areas? |
| Answer» Solar salt comes from salt water dried in salt bogs. Most salt water come from the sea. The Great Salt Lake is used to produce solar salt but it is 1000 miles from the sea/coast.But, since the big source of salt water is the sea, solar sea salt producers are near those coasts.Mined salt can come from salt mines that are thousands of miles from coastal areas. | |
