Why is wood and glass are often used to soundproof rooms |
|
Answer» Answer: Glass is very acoustically reflective because it is FLAT and rigid. But the problem with glass is that it can bend DEPENDING on the thickness and it is USUALLY made quite thin. Wood conducts SOUND because it is easy to move but it also absorbs like a sponge BLOCKING some sound. |
