Bacteria helps in breaking down BIODEGRADABLE waste into organic materials which helps in the growth of plants MAINTAINING ph level and healthy soil. They are cosmopolitan and can SURVIVE on the coldest, DRIEST and hottest conditions. Eg Lactobacillus bulgaricus is present in yogurt which helps in breaking down the natural sugar in the milk and MAKING it beneficial. Types are fungi,bacteria,algae. |
