Answer» It was the first time under the LEADERSHIP of various kings who ruled Kerala in the 19TH century, that any real emphasis was laid on education. Though education wasn’t the first priority during those times, most rich and higher class people preferred to educate their children. This made education an opportunity for the lower and middle class to ACHIEVE the same DIGNITY and status like the higher classes. |
