Answer» cells, like skin and BONES, are the ones that undergo mitosis. Gametes undergo meiosis, a very different process that CREATES haploid cells with half a SET of chromosomes. Mitosis does not occur in haploid cells because a) they do not have a full set of DNA and b) they are not SOMATIC, Hope this helped! |
