Answer» slope is from west toeast. And hence most of THEINDIAN rivers which originate(either in the Himalayas or Western GHATS) flow from West to EAST. As you knowrivers drain into the SEA andflows from higher altitude to lower altitude- ie frommountains to coastal PLAINS.
