Answer» Pancreas are known to have a dual function because it acts as both an endocrine gland and exocrine gland i.e. it is a part of both the hormonal and digestive system of the body respectively. So, itis also called heterocrine gland. It secretes hormones insulin and glucagon as well as digestive enzymes. tq |
