Why peoples hop on their state attitude and then on their caste ? Don'

1.	Why peoples hop on their state attitude and then on their caste ? Don't they have their own identity to hope on ?Supose :- A rajput "Mai rajputana hu mujhse ladega to bahut pachtaega." Note :-Look at it i am not going on someone's caste and its not neccessary that all peoples are same in that caste. There are plenty of fishes in the sea.
