Why the intermolecular forces are different from the electrostatic forces? |
Answer» Electrostatic forces occur due to static electricity. Molecules are just too small to produce electrostatic forces to use it as a bond among themselves. Covalent bonds are more like inter-atomic forces rather than intermolecular. These bonds occur while atoms share electrons to form bonds and make molecules. | |
