1.	Why was the system of reserved constituencies introduced in India?
Answer» The CONSTITUITION makers were worried that in an open election those having more resources will overpower the ones with less resources( ST,SC) by which our parliament will be deprieved of a major part of our population which will make our democracy less democratic. So as to have FREE and FAIR ELECTIONS, the system of reserved constituencies was started.
