Why we can not reach the speed of light |
| Answer» As objects travel faster and faster, they get heavier and heavier , the heavier they get, the harder it is to achieve acceleration, so you never get to the speed of light. A photon actually has no mass .If it had mass, it couldn\'t travel at the speed of light.Particles that have mass require energy to accelerate them. The closer to the speed of light you get a particle, the more energy is required to go faster. This is because the particles themselves get more massive in proportion to the increased velocity. | |
