Communication is the transferring of information, thoughts, ideas, and emotions. The sender and receiver that are involved can be a person, animal, or a device. When we communicate with one another we are trying to get a point across and that can be used by symbols, signs, and behavior. Effective ways we communicate are verbal and nonverbal communication. When this type of communication is used PEOPLE are using their voice, facial expressions, writing, or their body language to convey a message. Formal and informal is another form of communication we use when we have meetings, memos, and conversations with each other.

With IM you can communicate in real time, people are able to respond immediately to questions and comments. It’s a good way to stay in touch with family members and you can save money on long distance phone calls.

Communicating with co-workers face to face or VISUAL communication is done on a daily basis. When we aren’t sure about material or how to complete something we ask another team mates for help. We share ideas, business, planning, and provide any kind of information that will help with the success of the business. My work environment have weekly meeting to update info as well as the team sharing ideas or concerns. Monthly my SUPERVISOR has one on one meetings with each individual to let us know where we stand and what resources we can use to help us progress there. The business conducts communication internally when we have department newsletters as well as quartly meeting in which people receive awards.

Telephone communicating takes place with our enrollment department and advertising. They talk with the customers and help assistance customers with getting on the correct HEALTH insurance plans. The employers are trained on how to handle different scenarios and SPEAKING clear so that people are able to understand.
