Answer» POINTS FOR AGAINST THE MOTION - 1.Academic excellence is not the only requirement for a successful career. Success is an achievement. Every person has a different vision for their success in life. 2.Along with the academics, having co-curricular knowledge and extra skills are required too. 3.Success not only depends on student's caliber and potential but also determination. 4.Academics is important for success but a student must work hard and make efforts to gain knowledge in every field. 5.The increasing emphasis on scoring high grades in exams seems to overshadow the essence of education. 6.The mere cramming of concepts and facts seems to rob the students of the fun learning in general. I would like to conclude by saying that academic excellence is not the only requirement for a successful career, one has to be passionate about whatever one is doing. |
